Case Study
Cincinnati Art Museum
When the Cincinnati Art Museum incorporated a 34-foot-tall window in the design of one of its galleries, the contractor turned to Barry Farmer Draperies with a challenge. The view of the surrounding park was a work of art, but the harsh sun spoiled the picture-perfect view for several hours each day and exposed priceless art to potentially damaging rays.
Using advanced technology, Barry Farmer Draperies’ installation specialists installed a 16’ x 34’ motorized sunscreen shade with a sun sensor. So when the sun is too bright, the shade responds to the sensor to control the light while letting in the view.
